three strikes...you're out

Hey guys, I missed reading your feedback over the weekend! Ok, so time for some new stuff to @#$%* about. So that guy I've been venting about, supposedly he really misses me and cares about me and is worried about me, blah blah blah. Or at least this is what he's been telling one of our mutual friends. But then when I actually make the effort to talk to him (even though I'm still upset with him), he behaves like a total jack@$$ and upsets me even more. So I'm wondering, why would he be like, "Man, I wanna talk to Monazza, but I dunno what to say to her" and then go and screw things up when I make it easy for him? THEN I find out that he now likes ANOTHER girl (on top of a list of two at the moment). It makes me sick the way he's so effing girl-crazy! Hassan, I think it was you that mentioned something about immaturity in guys in their early 20's. Dude, you could not be more right. I remember when I was little and guys seemed SO immature, I used to be like man, I can't wait until I'm like 18 or so, and I get into college, college guys are so mature. But it seems to be just the opposite! I think maturity in men spirals downward until they get to be in their late twenties and are starting to develop stable lives along with somewhat of a brain. As much as I love him, I've decided that I'm just going to have to drop him, because so far I've been completely clean and I intend to stay that way until I'm married i'A. If I have kept myself pure all these years, I should expect no less from the man I marry, so I'm afraid...this is where Monazza's prem kahani ends. For those of you who've seen "A lot Like Love," the three strikes have long since passed...he's out.

Remember Love at a young age makes you weak and one may tend to forget the AIMS and Objectives in our life. I hate being a GrandFather here BUT For the Love of God, focus on your Life >: dear author since you are still 17.

Monazza, you have ssoo made the right decision. Him 'missing you' is nothing more than his guilt speaking. And He wants to keep in touch b/c subconciously, He wants to keep you on the back-burner. Just in case, He cant find anyone esle in the next couple of years. He'll call you every other week or so, maybe more or less depending on his personality. But from statements, His mind is already made up. He wants to explore all his options and will continue to do so, till its time for him to tie the knot. Be it something his parents suggested or He comes someone that completely blows him away. In his case, the girl will be someone who provides a challenge. The 'untouchable', someone whos not in his league. More likely He'll get an arranged marriage when his parents want him to do so. However you wanna look at this, you are way better off without him !! Hope I didnt come across as being harsh to someone you like, but have seen this happen before. Multiple times over. More power to you for making such a difficult decision. Inshallah only good things are in store for you. Keep your head up sista girl !!

Allah Rakhi, Cupcakes, and Shaque: You guys are way too cute for your own good. lol. I know I'm upset about the whole thing right now, but it's a phase, I have to go through this for me to move on with my life. I realize that now. Maybe we were meant to be, maybe we weren't, I guess we'll never know. But I don't regret that because I put myself out there and took a chance, and it was all apart of Allah (swt's) plan for it to not work out. AllahRakhi: Believe me, this experience has made me realize the value of my hard work and dedication and it has allowed my goals to come alive for me. Nothing can hold me back now. :) Cupcakes: You're absolutely right (as always :p). He's being incredibly immature and just wants to fool around while he can, but he doesn't realize that that's only temporary and in the end, he will be left alone and without true love. Shaque: YOU were the one that recommended the book to me! Man it was bugging me for the longest time to remember who it was! Thanks so much, reading that book and rebuilding my self-esteem after the past 2 years is what my weekend will be spent on. And hey, by nature I'm actually a very impatient person, but I was also raised as my father's daughter and he taught me to never feel inferior to anyone and that there will always be better things out there for me than I think. I'm the type of person where I will either love you more than my own life, or hate you more than your worst enemy. One important thing I want you all to know is that I still care for him deeply and I want the best for him, because I know that I truly did love him, and I have faith that i'A he will realize that too.

Pakprncess786: I think I saw that episode of Oprah, and I also saw yesterday's episode where they discusses a book, that I believe Khismat recommended to me? It's called "He's Just Not That Into You." I've heard it's had a "life-altering" impact on people's lives so I'm gonna get it, and I think all of you (guys included) should too.
