trick (i think!) to change the french pages to english ones --> replace the fn (for french) after the / with en (for english)

i've nearly always travelled by train in europe and it's fast and economical (plus you miss city traffic)

also if you have time for a day out when in milan try visiting the northern lakes (lake como or lake garda)

cheap bus services from milan to bergamo and malpensa airports (a bus to the central bus station then a taxi to your hotel.. or ask your hotel for advice)

note traffic in milan can be hectic so double your estimated travel time..

khan.. depending on your budget i can forward you a list of b & b's / you can compare these to yh's.. unless you pre book in london things can get pricey. send me an n-mail..

geneva is brill as you can go almost everywhere by tram

also i can recommend a yh which is central as geneva hotel prices are usually extortionate

I am i think comin out via terminal 2 i think...
And one more..what u think of YHAs on oxford street otr shall i go to B& Bs..after all i need to save as much as i can for my 90 days tour...

London: get the underground (subway) on the piccadaly line (thats the only line that does run so no confusion) to the station called oxford circus. i suppose thats as central as u can get.

If u land at terminal 4 then u might have to get a bus service to terminal 3 from where u can then catch the underground.

If u use the trains after 9:30am then a travel card from heathrow to central london is about 8? i think.
