TOY DONATIONS FOR AFGHAN CHILDREN

If you would like to help children in Afghanistan, please continue to read. No, I am not asking for money, so don't be intimidated. My Father collects material donations for Afghans and has them shipped to Afghanistan. This time around, however, there were not many toys for the children. I just spoke to him, and he says that he is being bombarded with street children begging for toys, as they were not around for the first distribution. So many children have come, that he asked me to do a last minute round up for toys. I know this is very last minute, as the next container leaves on Tuesday, and I need to collect them by Monday, but its for a good cause. I know many of you have siblings or kids who have outgrown their toys, and most likely they are sitting in your garage or somewhere else, unused. Depending on the how many responses I get, I will either pick the toys up myself, or designate a drop off location. So please respond if you'd like to help. and make some poor children happy. Also, I will give proper notice next time a shipment is going so we are not strapped for time. Thank you for your consideration.

You can drop off all your donations at Cigarrette City, located at 20117 Sherman Way Avenue in Canoga Park. It is located on the corner of Sherman Way and Winnetka). The owner of the store is Afghan and is kindly allowing all people to drop off donations at his place of business. You can go there to drop off your donations on Saturday April 29 between 10am and 9 pm, as well as on Sunday April 30 from 10am till 7 pm. As all the items need to be boxed and delivered by Monday afternoon, you can only drop them off at these times.
