Toyota 4Runner
i am thinking about getting Toyota 4Runner...Any opinoins would be apprecciated. How does it handle the snow?
The last generation 4Runner was in a class of itself, I felt (especialy the LIMITED). The current generation 4Runner shares the same platform as the Lexus GX470. In essence, alot of refinement, engineering, and quality can therefore be assumed. As far as fuel-economy and what engine to go w/, I guess it depends on what are priorities for the owner. For myself, I prefer sportscars to have a robust/powerful LARGE sized engine; sedans to have a smooth/refined ADEQUATE sized engine; SUV's to have an economical/practical SMALL sized engine... The ride quality, height, handling, style and overall presence are my priorities in a SUV!
I rented one and drove it from DC to NY. It actually made me want one my self. The one I assume the one I had was a v6 since it was a rental, had more than enough power at any speed.
the V8 in the new one is amazing. that thing is super responsive. of course it probably will bleed you in gas too... i think the limited basically is the SR5 with most of the options in there already. not sure exactly. just go on the toyota website and compare the two, or just quickly call up your local toyota dealer (tho who knows if they're actually smart enough to answer your q...)
