tragedy... *sobbing*


i had pre-ordered my book from amazon hoping I'd get the HP book on time - but the post office LOST my book!! I STILL haven't received it! I've been going back and forth between amazon and our post office... amazon says the book wasn't returned to them so they can't do anything about it. post office says they attempted delivery but no one was home and after that they don't know what happened - meanwhile.. i am stuck in the middle... trying, keyword: TRYING so hard not to read the whole story through these JEs, but ... I already know the ending... I spoiled it for myself cuz I couldn't contain myself... *sniff snif*

ufffff how i wish i can find my long lost book!!! *: :* :# ); :- :- #:

wow! 16 at walmart? hmm... i should've checked that out first. o'well. Amazon said they'll ship me another copy at no charge. I should be getting it tomorrow. I am pretty sure they'll require a signature this time... and yes i spoiled it for myself. i just couldn't wait any longer :(

it odd also got amazon and the post man just crammed it into the regular ol standard size mailbox...also if anyone out there is through with the book and wants to get rid of it(?) ecampus is offering buy backs at $8 a copy.
Yes- plenty of copies the same day of release at walmart (very frustrating cuz i also was mailbox hunting all day for my copy...)

yeah I emailed amazon askign for a refund or another copy. I'll wait to hear from them. I mean, I already know the whole story now... the excitement has got of fizzled... I'm just waiting for the book so i can read it at leisure ...

well while you wait for your book to come you can always get a head start and spend a few hours in a local bookstore reading it... or just buy the book and return the copy that amazon sends u

and btw I did the Amazon thing too and got my book on Sat at 10 AM, and I noticed that they took my signature for confirmation.

Amazon was doing the guaranteed release day delivery so make sure you have them credit you the amount of the book and then go run to the nearest bookstore and pick it up! They have to give it to you - it was part of the whole deal. It doesn't concern you who lost the book or why you don't have it. The fact is that you don't have it and the post office didn't send them a delivery confirmation (signature) so they will have to refund you the money.

but for whats its worth, and i might get shouted at for saying this .. but the books not really that good ..... :(
