Tummy advice? Need to slim down
Hi guys, sup?
My tummy has gotten bigger since I stopped being a student and eating more. I gained 30 pounds in the last year and I gained it only in the abdomen (argh).
I started working out in a home gym every other day (Stamina Bandflex). I do Bicycle crunches, 3 sets of 20 each in the workout. They say bicycle crunches are the best for straight and oblique abs and give the most workout for ab muscles.
So what should I do to compress my belly into toned muscle? Is doing a lot more crunches and doing them every day instead of every other day going to help?

That's pretty much all I can offer without sounding like an idiot.
Ive heard so often that one cannot spot train, which I dont necessarily agree with. I mean, we train our bis and they get bigger right? We train our pecs and they grow right? Why cant we target our abs?
Regardless, reduce your total body fat and hit your stomach real hard...crunches, leg lifts, raises etc. For a lot of people the abdomen is the most difficult region to train so good luck.
And I could have a regular meal in the day too but if I eat more of the above three healthy foods, it would be very helpful. Atleast that would be better than doing KFC at lunch and Tacobell at two other times in the day (I get hungry a lot).
I read somewhere that the most effective diet is - you got it - the one thats the easiest to follow. I have to get a treadmill though.
1) eat less calories then your required daily intake
2) eat frequent meals, and dont eat 3 hours before bed
3) balanced meals ( restrict simple carbs, as much as possible )
4) rest and dont stress, stress hormone is linked to abdomen fat.
5) weight lifting / aerobics ... dont settle just with aerobics
this will get you in top shape inshallah
okay bye
eat less simple carbs and burn more calories in the day, treadmil etc.
the more you work out, the more fat you will lose. you cant compress fat into abs, not even with instant abs?
