Uhh, just wondering..

You guys know the first page you get when you sign into Naseeb? (About the earthquakes in Pakistan, India, Afghanistan, etc) I was just wondering how trustworthy the Islamic, and presidential funds were...cause if someone would like to donate money, it would be a good thing if the money went were it needed to go, you know? Someone please get back to me on this...:)

I personally would rather give money to people I know, who can pass it on directly to those in need! At least I know its all deffo going to be used by someone in need, and not minimised by the middle man and a tonn of administration charges.

Thanks everyone for your comments...

I'm not worried about "wasting" my money, I just realllly would like to help, and would like to see it go somewhere GOOD. I know I get thawab, blah blah blah, I don't know. I guess Silkysword is right too...that naseeb wouldn't want to take the risk or the blame of people's money not going to the right place. What the hell, I'll try it out. And the governments piss me off too. Saudi Arabia has SOOOOO much and always give so little when it comes to things like this. BUT WHEN IT COMES TO AMERICA, WATCH OUTTTT!! Ok, Thanks guys...

the organizations that come out like this (in naseeb) and stay (in our world) for so long like this one we have naseeb dealing with..must have a reputation of gold! it also hasn't been closed down (yet?) by the post-9/11, anti-Muslim measures, so that's another guarantee. Plus, who thinks that whatever little money ones like us give..any difference would happen? el-3akk kullo 3al governments, like those of Kuwait and Saudi who gave BILLIONS to Katrina victims!

our Muslim brothers and sisters in Pakistan and Kashmir ma ilhom illa Allah. They are martyrs, according to hadith, for having breathed their lasts under fallen walls / roofs. May Allah accept them 3indo as shuhadaa. 3azaa2i is that they 'irtaa7o' min hal dinya, esp. in their part of the world..which is very 'ta3baan'. 3ind Allah a7san.

This is how I console myself about the huge loss of Muslims there. wa innaa lillaah wa innaa ilayhi raaji3oun.

I agree with u SS,you get your thawab based on your intention but seeing our brothers and sisters suffering make us really want to help them and wonder how we could really have most if not all our money get to them.We can't not care which organization we're donating to just because we're sure we got our thawab, right?

the one they have here on naseeb should be trustworhty, otherwise naseeb wouldn't take the risk and the blame afterwards (that is if there is any way to know that ur money reached the right destination).

but who cares? as long as ur intention Allah knows, that's all that matters. the good deeds are coming ur way either ways. plus, who said that money in our own hands are always put to good used and never wasted? akhhh, dont remind me how much money i lost on things i bought and regretted later!
