Ulfah Arts - Essence of Harmony and Spirituality
I've recently got involved with Ulfah Arts....and I'm so excited about the whole thing!!
"A UK based organisation, which promotes the understanding and appreciation of the arts, by giving access to people (particularly women) who - due to their religious/cultural beliefs - would not otherwise have opportunity to engage with the arts, either as an audience member or an artist/performer"
My Uni days involved me singing gospel music as part of a choir that specialised in African a capella songs....doing gigs at the local performance hall, festivals and jingles for BBC world service. Tremendous fun! P:
I've been steering closer to my faith....and left those days well and truly behind......but this new venture by Ulfah Arts ( a halfway house) has got me all excited again!
Any budding singers, actresses, writers out there?
