It has been authentically reported by al Bukhari and Muslim, on the authority of Huthaifah, may Allah be please with him, that the PROPHET (Sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) came to the rubbish pit of a people and urinated while standing (al-Bukhari no.226).

If one examines all the hadeeth, than it becomes quite obvious that the Prophet (S) telling Umar (R) to sit was in regards to maintaining purity. In the hadeeth quoted, itr is stated the Prophet (S) urinated in a rubbish pit, clearly indicating that he could maintain purity.

Further, I think it is quite difficult to prove the something that doesn't exist. Especially considering the extremely refined and just government of al-Faruq. His judicial decisions are studied today, even in the most prestigious universities.
