the new Audi S8 quattro is the first car from the company to feature a 10-cylinder FSI petrol engine developed using the Lamborghini Gallardo's unit as its foundation.

Smaller, lighter and with fewer friction-generating components than a comparable 12-cylinder unit, the new 5.2-litre V10 petrol engine has a more performance-biased pedigree that perfectly suits the ultimate A8.

Maximum power of 450PS is delivered at 7,000rpm, and peak torque of 540Nm at 3,500rpm, with up to 90 per cent of this total available from just 2,300rpm, enabling a 0-62mph time of 5.1 seconds and a top speed limited electronically to 155mph.

i personally think that audi is a lil under rated, i mean its alot better built than a mercedes and the value and otptions compared to its counterparts are alot better

nooo ppl....the car in the 2nd transporter was the new A8, becuase the car in the 1st transporter was also an A8, but i think as far as the over all shape, i would preffer the A4 or it might be rebadges as the A5; over the new CLK or 3 series coupe

Actually, the car in Transporter 2 was a four dour Phaeton with the W12 engine. :P

this car starred in the second Transporter...apparently it can fly across buildings...pretty badass.
