EC, I got GA tickets for the 11/8 show. I bought them from a co-worker who had to cancel his plan for the concert. I wish these tickets were for the 9th. I really wanted to go with you guys but tickets are all sold out. I am sure there's a next time. :( -

GA tix are currently not available. CL has plenty of them but I wouldn't purchase mine from there. Counterfeit tickets are readily available everywhere . You don't wanna spend a couple of hundred bucks on a fake piece of paper. More GA tickets will be available through ticket master a week or two before the event date. I don't know this for sure but that's usually what happened before all U2 concerts I've been to in the past. You just have to keep checking the ticket master site ( url: ticketmaster.com majorcatid=10001& minorcatid=1 ). (Another option is to automate the ticket-availability-check process through a script if you are bored).

Other tickets are still available as ElusiveGirl mentioned. Most of the seats available are either behind the stage or way up there in the back.

I just found out that there's another Middle Easter Restaurant / Belly Dancing Joint just a couple of blocks from my place on Balboa/40th. I will probably head out there this weekend.

Surprisingly I dont even think they're sold out at the Oakland Arena. When I drive by the arena, they have the ad up on the screen with "tickets still available." Granted, they're probably balcony seats.

Robo, tickets are $150+ for general admission last I checked...

We have general admission tickets...don't get anything other than these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's worth the price.

Kan Zamaan is awesome - But I had this weird experience last time I was there. My friend and her fiance wanted to see belly dancing because they wanted to hire a dancer for their wedding - so i took them to Kan Zamaan. We were sitting there, eager to see some eye-candy coming out dancing. Then some dude with hairy abdomen shows up in belly dancing outfit with his plump lady friend! Later I found out Saturday nights are like that. To make things worse, the dude turned out to be a better dance than the lady. *gulp*

Have you ever tried Hukkah/Sheesha? I don't smoke but hukkah wasn't bad at all.

My friend got our general admissions tickets from ebay about two hours after they went on sale. Though the prices were outrageous compared to the regular $50, I'm sure they'll get much worse as the concert gets closer. You should get yours soon! (I love kan zamaan, by the way) lol

Do you guys have tickets yet? I will probably end up getting mine through craigslist. Hopefully more people will join this thread. Perhaps we can all meet up a week earlier at Kan Zamaan on Haight just to say hello face-to-face.
