where should I start...aren't they're all very weird...and memorable too:) my mom gave the guy's sister my number so that we could talk after we met initially and instead of him, his sister kept calling and telling me good things about him and blah blah blah...it was kind of harrassment b/c she would call after 10 at night and would keep calling without every leaving a message! Go figure
what she had left to say.

sophisty, he was being sincere in his own weird way. he was a regular jamaathi. i just found it funny that he was completely clean-shaven and wore tight clothing to reveal the cut of his arms.

OMG that is bizarre...but how did you know he wasn't being sincere? I mean, how did you know that he had double-standards?

i had one suitor, who happened to be unusually hot, but unfortunately, a complete bimbo!! anyways, the guy was also super ripped and was wearing this tight-fitted shirt w/ short sleeves to show off the cut of his arms. yet, he had the nerve to preach to me about wearing hijab and not associating w/ men outside of marriage and business purposes. i figured it wasn't worth the effort to convince him of my perspective on things, and barely talked to him the entire night hoping he would take the hint. but, all through out dinner he kept talking to me and afterwards got up and started washing our dishes!!! on his way out, he looked at my mom, and said, "auntie it was a pleasure meeting u and ur daughter. please forgive us if we offended u in any way." my mom being all friendly, said, "oh, beta, how could u ever offend us? u're such a sweet boy." and the guy was like, "well shaitaan puts ideas inour heads, so you never know." it was the weirdest experience ever! i still laugh about it.
