USA

No not that USA you had in mind..The United States of Arabia.. do you think it will ever happen? yemenies got themselves united, a union once existed between Syria and Egypt and was called the UAR(United Arab Repbulic), do you realize what kind of a powerful county we will be if we got united? we'd become so powerful our enemies would start dancing their last tango dance I bet ya!

independant interconectedness would allow for tribal xenophobia, and individual quirks in religion, law, and culture. Although there would have to be a subtle but consistent push for overall integration. Perhaps by ensuring that all highschool students spend at least a few months working in another nation. Similar to an apprenticeship, or the journyman stage which the european guilds required before an apprentice became a master.

it would build communities, integrate people, expose people to other ideas, and ways of doing things. It would help poorer communities (free, or cheap labor from other countries coming to help) and would give the rich a hard days work with their hands.

It would serve like hajj used to serve, when it was a few months on the road, stopping each night in a new town and seeing the rest of the muslim world. often, people would settle in new places rather than make the journey back. with travel technology being as it is, you can go to hajj, and be back, without ever really speaking to anyone who doesn't live withing 10 miles of where you live now. if you go in a group and stick to the schedule, you will be done in 7 days at the most, spend a weekend in france and be back in jersey without sitting and meeting your fellow muslims.

what a loss.

strength is not found in giving over ones national rights to a distant federal government. loosing control of local issues in favor of a dissociated government would not serve the benefit of the people. Local control, local response to local issues is needed in order to produce adequate responses to situations.

A series independant, autonomous, self-sufficient nations that unite militarily as needed and economically as is beneficial to the members would be good. but the USA is a bad example to emulate. The old islamic nation would be a better mentor. With an overuling seat of power, but with individual nations left pretty much to their own devices.

Fadi they already have these small unions, but corruption is the rule of hand in both rich and poor arabic countries. Omar: 1- the EU started from scratch few decade ago, so unity require alot of patience and a step by step work. 2- Egypt is rich in resorces such as manpower, and water! Saudi is rich in money and poor in man power! together they would form one very solid country. Ther GCC is interesting but too much internal competetion and disdain for each other.

I'd say make a union between the following regions as a first step: a union between belaad al rafedeen and belaad al shaam, make a union between jazeerat al 3arab and yemen and gulf countries, then belad wadi al neel(sudan and egypt) then a union between belad al maghreb al 3arabi. I know I sound like am daydreaming, but who knows?

lolllllllllll Masr is a very poor country, economically speaking.... they have lots of man power... but their economy is not very strong to support an invastion... they rely heavily on foreign aid..... I can't belive I'm talking invasion.... I guess there is a saddam in every iraqi!!! lollllllllllllllllllll

I'm telling you, all of the arab presidents are like leeches.. they will never move, unless forced too.... so what we need is one good arab leader (like that is possible!!), powerful enough to slowly force all of the arab countries to hand over their power....... in the beginning it will look like invasion, but in the long-term it will be better for all.....

The EU is different, as they are still indepdent countries with independent governments.... they use same currency and have free trade... I guess that would be a step closer to our ultimate goal.... world domination...lolllllllllllllllll

Fadi, get your homsey buddies and lets start the invasion....Wallah, I'm not doing much next weekend... :)

Because they are the richest 2 arabic countries in resources & Manpower and they compliment each other economically more than any other 2 arabic countries, plus they are very close to each other. I think they fit the German-France model in the EU

ssssshhhhhhhhhhhh how did u know!!!!!!! To be serious for a second, here is why its not going to work:
1- The typical common factor is religious and language. Although the language is there, but the religious tie is weak.
2- The tribal mentality is prevailant and discrimination and racisim against each other.
3- The true Imperial forces and the people (tribal or country heads) that facilitate their presence will work hard and diligantlt to maintain the gains that they had.

A higher level of education, tolerance, and acceptance of each other will go far is sewing the seeds of unity.

To be practical: I think countries like Egypt, Saudi should start the Arabic EU on Economical bases only. I think we need to learn from the EU experience.

I believe it will happen in my dreams..... it will only happen if one arab country (e.g., Iraq) goes on a rampage and tries to free all other countries, just like we did in Kuwait... lollllllllllllllllll, then you can have a united arab states.... lollllllllllllllllllllll :)

Fares, I agree with you completely, Ammoori is 3ameel.. .he is working for the Zubarbar tribe secret service in Africa..... he is collective valuable information from Nasseb... lollllllllllllllllllllllll
