So we are very ununited with our differing beliefs and our different tags( Sunni, Shia, Ismaili etc,), but would it be easier if we were of 'one single community'?.It is this struggle that helps us build ourselves as good Muslim individuals and then we can work on the entire ummah. If you look at supposed 'Islamic republics' you see almost a herd mentality with people believing traditions passed from previous generations as Islamic rules and regulations!! They dont question instead the follow a homogenous set of beliefs that in a lot of cases have no true Islamic grounding!It is logical that Allah has made us into many different communities.
This is what I lOVE about Islam--that it is explained in plain logic--the answers are always there -you just have to look.
