Has this ever happened to you:

You type out this LONG refutation of liberal and western ideas of Islam providing Quranic Ayats and authentic Hadiths, but the Vibes editors consider it a "violation" of TOS! I hate when that happens.

It makes the stupid liberals think that they have "shut us up", but in reality they are just playing a cowardly game.

This was my MAIN reason for creating this village, so we can finally post our comments and if it gets big enough, the liberals are bound to come in here if they DARE!

by the way, many of you have commented on the recent vibes journal thinking that hamdani is praising ghandi. on the other hand it is quite the opposite.

hmm...I agree that it is important to stick to the pure islam. but i also believe that proper adab should be maintained when dealing with disagreements. sure some of these people on here are arguing about things like homosexuality and women imaams or whatever. but the purpose of argument is not about winning or losing...it's not about us vs them. hopefully, you are praying that allah will guide them. None of us have the imaan of an angel, and all of us have our weaknesses. Throughout your lives you will come across many people (muslim and non-muslim) who will knowingly follow vices against islam. we have a responsiblity to show the beauty of islam to them in a postive light. remember the prophet's (pbuh) reaction to the people of Taif. may Allah protect us and keep us on the right path.

Sometimes I wonder.. why do people try to change the true meaning of the Quran.. sometimes people try to justify what they do or say or whatever to seem like what they do is right even though what they do is wrong... I'm not saying that whatever they do is bad or something... cuz we don't walk in other people's shoes... but sometimes we just can't deny our own actions... that being said... i think it's dumb that people delete comments.. i mean.. if someone does say something really stupid.. then totally... even i deleted stupid comments before.. but if something you have to say is really

Clearly sir your English comprehension skills leave a lot to be desired. Please review my previous emails. Whereas I would love to meet you to open a can of whoopas on your rearend, but I am not going to be at ISNA for the reasons enumerated in the previous emails.

As for the popularity... you are right, I am not very popular amongst cranks, crooks and mad people, if you catch my drift. I have ofcourse a rapport with those who are not afflicted with such mental illnesses and that is apparent to sane and rational human beings.

halo...the truth man!! wallah the truth. Dooba.. I see what you are sayin but you have to look at the fact of the matter. There were people like this at time of Rasulullah and after during the sahabas times and they delt with them harshly. It is a big sin to know the truth but than try to change it to meet the demands of kafirs or a western lifestyle. They are trying to "fix" Islam so they can "blend" in a kafir society. I am not sayin that we should get out of society but we should maintain our Muslim identity to the fullest. There are people here who say hijab is not manditory and stuff like this, they are openly going agains the Quran and Sunah when knowing it is written in the Quran and Sunnah. How can they not be enemies of Islam for spreading such fitnah and curruption?

Salam Guys...one thing i'm not in agreement of is takfir or antagonizing them / engaging in abusive name calling. I don't agree with calling people overt names, for instance...I doesn't do justice to your message or portray you in a good light. I'm more about judging the actions and implications of their thought rather than the very person...i dunno...avoiding vitriol and statements like "if this was such and such a time, your head would be chopped off..." that's just simply uncalled for. Do you really think that's going to get any message across? I agree that the editors go for the so called "progressive" opinions frequently and post them up asap, but...remember what God tells the Prophet alayhi'ssalam in 3:159 = "3: 159 =================================== ===

"And it was by God's grace that thou didst deal gently with thy followers: for if thou hadst been harsh and hard of heart, they would indeed have broken away from thee. Pardon them, then, and pray that they be forgiven.
