honda, eh? spoke to a qa engineer from honda japan once... spent his time on the vfr assembly line. random sampling... pull engine from line, run at redline for 5 freaking days... tear down, analyze... improve. save for some niggling issues the vfr is one of the better bikes i've done time with.

my bm's edging towards 40K and pulling like a champ... gave her a new life early in the year with new shocks and a secondhand staintune system i snagged on ebay... but my word the engine's really come into her own... rev happy, crisp response and phenomenal mid range grunt. valves have not moved out of spec over the last two adjustments. methinks she's just about broke in...

can't imagine letting her go in the forseeable future. but she will have a stablemate soon. stay tuned.
