Visiting Philly from Chicago


I will be visiting my sisters in Philly around the middle of August, but since they have work/school, I might be on my own a lot of the time. I've done most of the touristy things in philly in my sole previous trip to the city, but can anyone recommend any must-do/must-sees in the area? (Or must-eat:) Also, any favorite coffeehouses? Thanks!

Sahara is good... so is The Kabob house on 15th and sansom

there's tons of fashionista shopping around rittenhouse-around 15th through 18th walnut through chestnut. also,old city's got loads of funky stores and restaurants.

There's also Sahara on 13th and Walnut....good Arabic food. :P
