Was he Correct ?
Was Hadhrath Umar was correct when he denied the dying request of the Holy Prophet (saaws) on the premise that the 'Qur'an is sufficient for us' (Sahih al Bukhari Vol 7 hadith number 573)
Volume 7, Book 70, Number 573:
Narrated Ibn 'Abbas:
When Allah's Apostle was on his death-bed and in the house there were some people among whom was 'Umar bin Al-Khattab, the Prophet said, "Come, let me write for you a statement after which you will not go astray." 'Umar said, "The Prophet is seriously ill and you have the Qur'an; so the Book of Allah is enough for us." The people present in the house differed and quarrelled. Some said "Go near so that the Prophet may write for you a statement after which you will not go astray," while the others said as Umar said. When they caused a hue and cry before the Prophet, Allah's Apostle said, "Go away!" Narrated 'Ubaidullah: Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "It was very unfortunate that Allah's Apostle was prevented from writing that statement for them because of their disagreement and noise." www.usc.edu

an illogical argument is illogocal however you spin it.
thanks.
and then they have the audacity to pass this off as an irrelevant event where both parties were right? can you tell me where the logic is in that?! instead of facing the truth the seek to trivialise and bury such issues. what love do they have for the prophet when they imply his beloved daughter was being irrational? this is the 'sunnah' they want you to follow!
I dnt care khomeini said....so, dont talk abt him to me !
yea, u wanna talk abt Ahlul bayt talk to me.....
and please, if u wanna have a decent conversation, then have sme dignity and respect whn u talk to others...
Relax, take a deep breath.....now tell me more abt ur question, what do u mean by restore ?
just ONE simple question for now, dug out from among the many others u didn't answer for!
yalla, lets c what u got! and dotn throw in new questions when u'r still to provide answers for some! gosh, typical shia, just like ur arabic brethen in the anti-shia arabic forums i follow!
wallah i have what can turn ur hair grey within the blink of an eye, if only i didn't have to work and study most of the day and had to go thru translating what i find. just trust..u can't win, ok? u'll always be a despicable minority. if u believe u'r ont he truth, u less than 10% if who call themselves 'muslims', then u'll have to publicly declare u agree with Khomeini that Prophet Muhammad FAILED in his Message!!! So, declare it!!!! say that the Prophet failed!!!! will u???
I'll answre this misconception about the story above in the near future wallah, and i'll show u ur extent of ignorance.
and keep ignoring my many other questions in other journals here or in my own.
