Wedding Workhorse
Ramsey has requested that I start a new VE, so here goes...
I used to be flattered by the fact that all my friends and relatives absolutely had to have me around when they were getting married. The months before the wedding were always characterized by frantic phonecalls: "You're coming right? Okay, great, please come as soon as you can, we really miss you!" Now of course this all sounds innocent enough, until about a dozen wedding later when I realized that they only wanted me there because I'm dependable and hard-working! Frankly I'm a little insulted. Everyone else I know goes to weddings to enjoy themselves. Am I the only one who spends most of these functions running around doing errands? I think this workhorse needs to retire. Any thoughts?
