Taugi .... I am a Welshman ..Cardiff born and bred ..all my family are still there and I will be back there over the Xmas and New Year holidays . I love the place ...one thing you will notice ( and people who visit always say this), and that is that we are an extremely friendly and sociable bunch ...(unlike our stiff upper lipped cousins across the border!!) .....what else can I say about Wales ..beautiful place ..beautiful people ..Nuff Said !! :)

It all depends how many times you will be stopping and what speed you will be driving.

If you drive non stop i think you probably will be able circumnavigate in probably few days.

My advise would be to take your time and take everything in, you will enjoy it that way more.

It is cold same as England, wrap up well!!.

Wales is a great place for horse riding, the County I work in has loads of publice horse riding places. But I don't think weather is great at the moment to do that!! In summer its great.

It seems you are coming with your friends, you will find pleanty to do in Cardiff.

Wales is a beautiful country.

It all depends what is one looking for when visiting. I have been working in Monmouthshire in Wales for the last two years. I can testfy the area I work is beautiful(Wye Valley).

Just let me know what you want to do or visit I can direct you to the right places!!

Wales is pleasant enough depending on where you go. We went there quite a few times when we were younger as well. Snowdonia is really lovely and definately worth a visit.

when we were growing up we spent weekends in wales horseriding and pony trekking among the breakon beacons - spelling? :S cantering down mountains and riding through rivers ... it was absolutuely beautifful - the terrain is gorgeous for hiking.

I've only been once about ten yrs ago on a geography school trip. Went to an area called Rhossili Bay. There wasn't much to do around there though the beach was quite nice.

Wales. A good idea badly executed. Only ruined by the Welsh.

I once met a drunk Welsh guy who was very proud of being from Wales. He asked me if I had ever been to Wales. Without thinking, I replied, "Well, only in as much as I've tried to bomb it a few times".

He was not impressed.
