Today, Alhamdulillah, I was very fortunate and for that I have to be very thankful.....why?

Well, it was no big thing...only that I didnt feel like going in to work this morning so I got to sit at home and work from there....

This made me think....

I am thankful that Allah has given me a job to go to everyday and has given me an income to provide my needs and Alhamdulillah I am thankful that if I were not to get paid today, there would still be food on my table tonight, in abundance, for my family and me. We would not go to bed hungry and we would have a roof over our heads. Thank you my gracious Allah for all your mercy and blessings....

Please take the time out today to pray for those of our brothers and sisters who are too are fasting and who are not so fortunate..those who cannot be like me and wake up and say " i dont feel like going to work today"......those who have to go earn their living each day, no matter what the job or whether its hot or cold or no matter how intense the labor...they have to do this so they can literally earn enough to put bread on the table tonight to feed the only meal of the day to their families....and then there are many out there who cannot even look forward to that......for them it is Ramadan all year around.....

We are all having to work while fasting the days of Ramadan in solidarity....may Allah make it as easy for the rest of my brothers and sisters as he has made this Ramadan for me.....
