What do we not want?

I was chatting with Chocogurl (how do you like that for props?) and I hit upon something. What we don't want in a potential mate is at least as important as what we want. Too few people, it seems, do not lend enough creedence to what it is they don't like in a mate. He/She may have all the qualities that one would want but they may also have qualities that you just can't stomach. We become so fixated through our need to fulfill positive criteria that we ignore the negative. What are the qualities that we can't stand in a person? Do you think that our fixation with fulfilling our own requirements and ignoring other aspects contribute to the ultimate failure of relationships? Lets hear it!

the way i see it... and believe me- i am guilty as charged until recently is that there is so much pressure on ourselves, from our families, community, bilogical factors to hurry up and pair up... that people don't really stop to see what they want and don't want... this whole bio-data nonsense makes me giggle... just cuz someone looks good on paper- doesn't mean they will be right for you. AND admitting that you are looking for certain things lends itself to the "you are too picky" comments...
