What do you do then?

When Allah Fails to help you, what do you do?
=============================
When Allah failed to help you, again and again then what did you do?
Can you relate any personal experience Or you were just lucky all time?
What did you do then? Were you able to work it out?
Think before you reply, its only a question.

WELL THE HYPOTHETICAL QUESTION ON MY MIND IS...

WHEN THERE ARE SO MANY WISE AND EDUCATED MUSLIMS IN THE UMMAH THEN....

1-WHY DOES UMMAH EXISTS HYPOTHETICALLY? IN ALL WAYS,ECCONOMICALLY
2-TECHNOLOGY
3-UNITY (ARAB/NON ARAB/SECTARIANISM)
4-SUNNI -SH IA FEUDS
5-IF PRAYING HELPED ,WOULDN'T THE PROBLEMS BE SOLVED JUST BY THAT? DIDN'T ALLAH SAY,YOU NEED TO MAKE SOME ACTION TO BE REWARDED?

If Allah swt does not respond to your duas it means he will give you something even better you just don't know it. There is a reason for everything.

Labs: I agree with you (and your mum :) ) about arrogance and not praying to God for help.

I also think that guilt can play a major part too. i can think of one major time of my life when I thought I didn't deserve His help, when I tried to pray...my head was churning out so many other thoughts. i considered myself an unworthy human being. That attitude prevented me form seeking help.

The concept of Him being tremendously Merciful didn't fit with me at that time....or atleast, I wasn't allowing it to....

I take it as a sign that what ever I'm asking for is not good for me and move on to something else.

Peace

?The winds of Grace are blowing all the time. It is up to us to raise our sails.?

?When you come to the end of all the light you know, and it's time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two things shall happen: either you will be given something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly.? - Edward Teller (A)

i agree with khan and ua..

i've asked God for help numerous times (at least 3 come to mind where i specifically said 'help!' or expected help! )

i think Allah expects us to have faith.. and patience.. and then some more faith.. most people give up before they start this.. you can't receive what you don't ask for (for more on this see surahs ad Duha surah 93, and al Inshirah, surah 94 below)

it's true that some of what you receive is down to what you've earned.. when we're not behaving remotely ethically/ nicely/ or with integrity and respect towards ourselves or others, why do we expect breaks in return?

this also goes for our attitude towards religion - as my mum says ( :D ) if you're stuck and you can't bring yourself to pray/ ask God for help/ guidance, that's just arrogance - i think asking God is key.. you're at least acknowledging that He has a hand in your fate and need help and allowing Him to guide you to a better place.

also gala has a point, you may ask for something and receive help much later than expected, and in a totally unexpected form.. you'll often receive what's best for you and not even know you needed it.

to answer your question, there have been times when i have been serially unlucky (mainly my fault) and have got out of them (!) by praying/ hard work/ faith and being patient

also agree with ua's point... we've not been put here arbitrarily/ as pawns.. God trusts us to do what's right and trusts that we will learn from our mistakes

Allah never fails. WE, being humans, may fail to recognise that "help". That help can take different forms, both "negative" and "positive". The secret is to view all situations as being given to us by Allah in a "positive" form, even though we may choose to register those situations/experiences as "pain". What we choose to do with those situations is up to us.

My belief: Allah exposes us to everything in life so we can learn and grow as a human being, and in doing so cherish his presence in our life. For only that can cause us to yearn to meet him after our time is up on this Earth.

...Lessons in life have a habit of repeating themselves until we have learned what Allah is trying to tell us...then He moves on to another lesson...

One thing is for certain...Allah is tremendously trusting. He wouldn't have put us on this planet, if he didn't have faith in his creation. I guess our quest is to "let go" of our fear, and put our trust in Him.

well...
can i reword the question and then give u the answer????
(What will you do when u get failed in something important or u r in turbulation and are feeling down ?)

Answer:
You have to ask yourself a questions: who brought this bad time on you?
Answer is simple: no one but Allah (SWT)

now you have to ask you another question to yourself: WHY he did so?

Answer:
There could be two reasons only:

1- Either you have done something wrong and lost the track and now Allah SWT is pulling the carpet from underneath you to bring you on the right track?

2 OR he is briniging you turbulation to eleviate you fromothers and give u a high Muqaam (position/rutbah).. as he did to all his prophets and waliAllahs..

So whatever is the reaosn of your downfall it is good and can't be bad...(bringing you on right track or eleviating you)
so you should say Alhamdolilah and do a lil mohasiba of yourself and bring out the goodness in you and work o n it to increase..it...

----------------Personal experiences has told me that this is so true..
someone once told me that only if we believe in one thing hal of the troubles will go away from the world..
" that believe that Allah will look after us in roviding us what we deserve and wat is in our muqaddar we should work hard towards it but should not fear the loss"
e.g fear of boss that if i make him angry i will lose my job (favouring the boss in his wrong doings or not saying wat is Haque just because of the loss of jobloss)
Stealing because of thinking that i cant getthis thing in aright way...(if its in ur muqaddar you'll get it)

i hope that answers the question...

Allah never fails to help you or anyone else. Your, I and many others just fail to ask or do not know it when He answers. :)

Allah Never fails to help me, in fact Allah has more then enough confidence on me that I will go through any problem with ease and still be thankful. and I am.

Allah has never failed me :)

tha pain in this life has been a blessing in disguise. its a gift.

but in good sincere suggestion, the premise that Allah fails to help is not correct in our Islamic faith. It is our duty to have faith and never doubt him.
He is not a man/woman who will fail or dissapoint.

Maybe you should rephrase to " what do you do, when the things u prayed for didnt come true "maybe.

allah doesnt fail to help you.

its just that what you think you want help for, is not the best for you.
