what do you hate about Scotland


Even though living in Scotland / being Scottish is an advantage i.e. not being english lol, the accent is good and of course Celtic are here :o). If you could choose one thing you hate about Scotland what would it be?.

For me it would have to be the neds. I was thinking of the guranga squad or the big issue sellers but its gotta be the neds. These trackie obsessed scum are prob the worst thing that could of happened to mankind. Getting 14yr old girls pregnant, drinking buckfast and listening to the most pish music. Also they support rangers and well thats just the final nail in the coffin. Scotland would be a much better country without them.

thnx!! know what else i hate! I hate Haggis(Veg one!)& all da haggis jokes! oh 7 da thought of black pudding (puke!). Is black pudding a scottish thing?

Sheena u stickin up for NEDS - i'm shocked - b8 u g8 a point!Hate the Bigotry/sectarianism too! Its bollocks - like a suni/shia thing! its like who gives a f**k!Hate our national footie team - such a bad nation for sports!!

In the end you can only trust your own judgement. If your satisfied that its halal then go for it. If not then dont go for it.

Remember if someone misleads you and says something is halal when it isnt then its not your fault and the sin goes to the person who misled you. I remember reading that somewhere.

Humm this is the first i have heard of this issue with Nandos. Whenever i goto Nandos i always make a point of asking if it's halal or not.

@Durfitymoo - theres actually been quite a bit of noise about nandos. People saying that its not really halal when they (nandos) say some of their resturants are. Their main supplier is a company called Freemans which isnt halal. Ive never been to nandos and wouldnt cos its a bit of a dodgy issue in regards to it being halal/haram.

I've decided what I really hate about Scotland! I hate the BIGOTRY that exists in Glasgow especially when there is an old firm match on! As you all know I'm a Celtic fan (btw warrior Shamy will always stay blue, i've tried!!!)but I'm more than happy to befriend a Rangers fan....an unbelievable amount are not and will find out your allegiance before hanging out with you!!(SAD i know!) I just feel there are so many OTHER important issues happening in Glasgow & the world for people to fight over being a "HUN" or a "TIM"!!!**Ahaat i've always thought that Glasgow is such a tolerant place........you will face racisim wherever it is not just exclusive to Scotland/Glasgow!$$Durfitymoo you would mention clubs and shwarmas wouldn't you?! Just move to Edgeware Rd!! I will agree with you all on the weather...its depressing!Shamy you are right Asian stuff is over-priced but its becoming more reasonable as the competition hots up! %%warrior, everything we discuss beomes a journal ;)

What do I hate about Scotland? That is a hard one because i have to admit I love living in Scotland esp Glasgow! :) Everyone so far has mentioned NEDS but NEDS/CHAVS are everywhere and not just exclusive to Scotland! It is important to look at the deeper picture when it comes to NEDS/CHAVS like social exclusion...a cycle of poverty...crime..which leads to the NED culture!! I will have to defend them though because there are some that are very nice people! I would say its similar to the issues us BBCD have with FOBS!!

@ Durfitymoo - my mum made roast lamb and it was amazing!, mmmmmmm laaaaaaaaaamb!.

@ Aahat_uk - cant say ive had any racism shouted at me in the streets. At school yeah but never outside.

@ Shamy76 - Come over to the green& white side, you know it makes sense! :o) . The prices for asian stuff is pretty rubbish compared to london but london got a much greater asian community so business competition will be higher.

what I dont like ab8 scotland is the 1)weather 2)NEDS! ( but the english have Chavs cannae escape em')3)all asian things up here r double da price of london 4)No real sheesha places, or as d/fitymoo said shwarmas and last but not least we have a team called CELTIC
