So I took my car to the dealership the other day for my AC not working so I figure it would be fixed under warranty. I get a call back and the guy is like "Your AC condenser is damaged because of some road debris, so it's not covered by warranty." So basically, while driving on the highway I small rock flew and went through my grill and hit the aluminum AC condenser and ruptured it causing the freon to leak out. Total damage $1000 .. what a joke! Talk about bad designing having an aluminum condenser being exposed through the front grill of the car.

I have been driving my motorcycle cuz gas is TOO EXPENSIVE in Chicago. Awais_Chicago, holla dude. I wanna check out your car. Lets go driving sometime.

Speaking of bikes, been using my Kona bicycle aronud the city, tho that just got a flat, possibly when I slammed on my breaks not to run into a cab door that flew open in front of me. so I'm pretty transportation-less for now. guess I'll have to stick to the subway...

update on my vehicle: the passanger side mirror was scraped against a metal-wiring gate and has been broken, tho is still useable (the culprit shall remain anonymous, and no it wasn't me). need to take off the mirror and use compound to glue the plastic housing back together.

I will have to look into those systems, thanks all for ther recommendations. I will keep you posted with what I end up getting. Gimme - I WISH, I actually downgraded my vehicle :( but hopefully in 6-10 months I will get the FX 45 or the G35 coupe....

Afgpartychic, if ur thinking of upgrading ur car sound system u should try getting Phat Noise... it totally rocks. I ordered mine and it should come soon... i got the base with a 20gig HD so about 6,000 songs.

Afgpartychick...by the belkin am/fm car transmitter it like 30 bucks at local bestbuy or circuity city..plays through ur radio...also radio shack has one of there brands too...Mine works great

I just purchased my car so I have been busy trying to figure out if I should modify it or leave it stock. I think I want to upgrade the system and see if I could hook up my IPOD to play in as well. I might powder coat the rims, tint the windows and change the front fender. Off from that I don't see myself changing out the intake or exhaust until I have enough cash flow to afford it. Aside from that I will put ultra bright white lights in and call it a day =)
