What I wore to see the president


I wore these sandals to a gala and met the President. I also got to dance with Don King. They are very cute, but hurt after 3 hours. especially if youre dancing and are a dorkarina like me. I love Baker's.

Since they are brocade, I wore a lemon yellow camisole under a black business suit with a lemon yellow beaded clutch. www.bakersshoes.com

As much as I love shoes, I hafta confess, I was a little more excited about meeting the prez than I was my shoes.......even if I were wearing Manolos...

why would anyone ever think that bush was more important then the shoes i am wearing ..

I think I have a pair of dark red tie up high heel sandals somewhere that i just remembered now .. I think I am going to wear those tomorrow

Now would anyone like to question the love of shoes again?

cool, I'll check it out. I go to forever 21 sometimes, I never used to before, but occassionally there may be something nice...its aptly named though, the fashions are for 21 yr olds! ;D

I love H& M - they need to bring it out to the west coast. You know where we got some great deals on chandelier earrings - forever 21 (I can't stand that store) my sister was in there and I saw the cutest pairs and they were like 5 bucks.

Yes - just as delightful has mentioned, if you can get it a half size bigger it will make the world of a difference. Also pin point where your foot is aching and focus on there - it was normally for my sister for her the heel of her foot to hurt after a few hours, she went out and bought this lil cushions from Nordstorms and now can walk in her shoes for hours.

dont stand too much in them :) .. cross legs and make sure those shoes can be seen .. also try wearing them with a 3 quarter length skirt in a dark chocolate brown with a halter in a satin gold or bronze or maybe a cashmere shawl or something of the like .. chandelier earings too ..

they are too high to do anything except hurt ur feet after 3 hours .. next time try getting them a half size or larger then what you usually get to give your toes room to wiggle and try to shift the weight from the ball of your foot on the bone of your foot in the front .. I wear heels all day for work stilletos .. pumps and my shoes kill after a few hours .. but i've learnt to minimize my walking and avoid standing for too long ..

btw they're really fab looking.

I LIKE - those are sexy and could see your feet hurting for awhile. It has a little too much busy work for me and the buckle is a lil big but other than that on a black suit those look hot =)
