What is a Bonda?


If I had to guess what a Bonda was and id used up my phone a friend, poll the audience, and the fitty-fitty, I would have to say that it's these round dough-balls that you fry in oil and serve in carts =) ... they taste awesome with chutney...any chutney will do.... :p

PS: Naseeb wouldnt let me type the word -balls without the preceding hyphen ...go figure... bunch of pervs we got here. Can't -balls mean anything else besides -balls... -balls to you naseeb...

Okay...Naseeb really sucks....I had an original picture of me getting it down piggin out on some real bondas from a bonda cart in India and tried putting it up on Naseeb but for seom deranged reason they said it wasn't an accurate representation of me ????? .... Go figure.....

Salmon oil contains OMeGa 3 fatty acids - excellent source to boost up HDL (good cholesterol) in your blood.
Smoked Salmon is even better!!!
and you know what that means???

yeah rani street food is great... but its kinda dangerous... and those mirchis are the best... i have them every day... nice and greasy!!! and what you are refering to as speical ramazan daal is actully a madrasi dish called GANJE... very popular with south indians... not so much with pakis and northies

Zayn: Ur lucky to have the Street food because its the Bes. It beats any 5 or 7 Star Hotel Food. I want some Bondas as well...shabbir if u came all the way to NY u should have brought some with you. I can't believe u did that though...thats crazzyy...loyal to ur platter:)

You know what else is really good is mirchi bajia ya mirchi pakora not sure what they are called but really good.

Do you guys have Daal with mirich and lemon and black pepper during Ramadhan..I call it the Special Ramadhan Daal...i am not sure if its a hyderabadi thing because i took it to masoomeen school ifthar and no one really knew what it was except Nuzhat Aunty and Hadi uncle who attend AZ.

man u people forget the garage made bondas and the home made bondas... i had the street made bondas today right off the cart... made by the dirty indian fellow wearing a loongie and a wife beater... with the little cow smiffing around for scraps... and grease so thick it could choke a donkey,,, mmmmmm dysentary!!!!!

yea naseeb did the same to me..when i was posting the recipe to making a Aloo Bonda.
If you guys missed the Astana Ifthar then come for the Masoomeen School Ifhari my mom is making the Aloo Bonda for it....while helping her i keep adding more and more green chillis in the Aloo..yummy.
