What you think about the new knicks?

With the knicks getting larry brown do you believe they can make the playoffs?...i believe if one of their young players develops into a low post presence i believe they can make noise in the eastern conference

knicks pay 20% of the salary i think...i like the new knicks and i think marbury is going to take this team past the first round...

for all of you nash supporters and marbury haters i want to see how well nash does without amarie...with kurt thomas this team has pretty much the same make up as the knicks a year ago(marbury still doesnt have anyone like shawn marion who can shut down opposing guards)...well see how much of better pg nash is

as for marbury if he cant win with this team then ill admit that he will never be a winner

how does it work with houston retired? does he still get paid/does it count against their salary cap? also, now it looks like Q takes over at SG, what do you think of that?

ben wallace is NOT 6 10 unless you count the fro. he's more like 6 8. i like the curry trade and think he's extremely polished on the offensive end. playin for LB is the best thing to happen to him, cause as you said lek, he'll teach him to play defence. beyond the first round lek? no chance there; unless they get rid of marbury, and you guys figure out that houston is finished and waive his a$$.

i love the eddie curry trade...just think about the east...most of them are undersized (even ben wallace is 6 10)....this trade gives them an inside presence they havnt had since patrick...im not thinking playoffs anymore im thinking beyond the first round

I like the E. Curry trade for NY, but even if he does learn to play some defense or how to rebound, its not going to happen overnight.

I'm not sure how well Marbury, Crawford, Q, and Houston will share the ball, but then I'm not really confident in Houston making a big comeback either.

Celtics, if they resign Al Jefferson (and continue to develop him in the coming years) and Gerald Green pans out...they will have a nasty team.

What do people think about the celtics next year? They are quite unpredictable. They have a stockpile of young talent (which makes their future quite bright), but next year is a big question mark. They could be a 2005 bulls, or a lottery team...

What do you guys think?

the east was miamis for the taking last year but wade wasnt a 100%...with a healthy wade this team had enough to beat detroit and i know detroit knows that also...he had 1 bad game the first game and killed them in all the others expect for the very last game....b4 he got injured not just me but every nba analyst was jumping on miamis bandwagon....

i do agree that miami has to learn to play with each other but on paper they are looking very good...well see if they can put it together

as for injuries you can say that about any team...any team losing a key player in their lineup are not going to be contenders...i agree that some players are more injury prone but you cant make a prediction based on the liklihood of someone getting injured

Until otherwise proven....the East is still the Pistons' to lose. They took care of Miami. I like how everyone jumps onto these bandwagons with nothing to back it up with. Is Miami one of the top contenders in the East/NBA ...yes. Are they reigning champs of their own Conference? No. Lets recognize the fact they have a lot of prove.

I dont see Jason Williams all of a sudden meshing with the Heat, or likewise with Walker. They have been traded time after time for a reason, and thats because they are chemistry killers.

As for Sac. Bibby gets hurt, Miller gets hurt, Peja gets hurt. The team is never healthy. I dont see this year as being a reversal of fortune for the Sacremento Queens.

i think allot of teams look good on paper but when the seasons over they dont even make the playoffs...who expected minnnesota to finish where they did....noone could predict phoneix winning the # of games they did...it comes down to team chemistry and alot of that has to do with the way teams are coached...with that said miamis team looks scary as hell on paper...i dont see any team competing with them

sacrementos going to be the surprise....i love the way that guy coaches....everyone that plays for that system turns into a good passer...i see them making it to the conference finals atleast with a shot at the championship

i think matt bonner from the raptors has a better chance than kwame of developinig into a star; seriously, kwame was the worst #1 pick EVER. honourable mention to Joe smith and derrick coleman (although coleman was sick, and had the game, he's just an idiot - Kwame just sucks).

oh yea taats right phil is with lakers....well miami has stan van gundy....i keep getting miami and lakers confused....i dont think yao or stoudamire are going anywhere...im not even sure if they have room to sign someone like that after signing kobe....i think the lakers only chance back to the championship is kwame developing into a star

Jordan handled Rodman, Phil Jackson is a joke, as you will all witness as the Lakers continue to suck without Shaq. Lakers are waiting on Stoudemire and Yao to hit free agency.

phil handled dennis rodman....jwill and toine are model citizens compared to that freak....miami stays healthy they take everything

Miami's gonna implode..any locker room with Jwill and toine is destined for failure.

im not going to defend the kings b/c they arent my team...but logically speaking they are a championship contender....when webber was healthy this was a championship caliber team...im not sayin reef is as good as webber was but webber didnt have the talent around him that reef has now...bibby's more experienced, pega has developed into one of the best scorers in the game, miller is better than vlade ever was and wells is a good ffit for them....as mentioned they have a solid bench also....i like the spurs also....i think either team could take it

well see about the knicks...

As long as duncan is playing and healthy, nobody but the spurs is gonna take the west. BUT, if any team has that chance this year it just might be the kings. aside from boastin a startin lineup with Miller, Pega, Bibby, Reef, and prolly Wells, they're bench is SICK. Thomas, Skinner, and Corliss are tough customers and will provide that aggressive edge to the pretty soft starting lineup. I say the kings go to the conference finals.

Uhhh maybe you should let the Spurs know about this whole "Kings taking the west" thing. Kings are too swingman/guard oriented to ever compete in a conference where people like KG Duncan Stoudamire Nowitski reign supreme. Good team--yes... championship caliber--never.

Analgous to Knicks...bad team--yes Playoff caliber--never

:D
