What's to do in San Fran?
I'm coming out to San Fran for winter break for about a week...straight through Xmas and New Years. I've been out once or twice before and covered basic touristy spots... but is there anything out there in the winter time worth checking out?
What I can already cross off:
Alcatraz (haven't seen it, but don't want to either)
Treasure Island
Golden Gate Bridge
GG Park- although I hear there is more to explore since it's so big...is it true that there are buffalo there?
Fisherman's Wharf
Lombard Street
Maybe a couple of other spots, but I can't remember.
Also- any good resturaunts to check out?
Thanks!

There are plenty more. But I don't think you can cover all that in a week. Better luck tomorrow!
and also the best sundays in the world are at ghirdali.
Definitely stay there if you can, because that place is half the fun!! They have a rockin new years eve event, occassional breakfasts and dinners, and also the regular open mike on Tuesday nights. $25 a night tops, but you _need_ advance reservations, as the place fills out weeks before hand! Once there, you'll connect with enough international youth that you won't have a hard time figuring out what to do. Trust me on this one. I seen it.
