What's up with this GAS prices!!!!!!!!!

Imagine that. I bought my first SUV and the GAS prices are sky high at all time high. Now I am seriously thinking about trading my SUV in a horse. Are you guys feeling this heat or its just me?

stajani, only few cities in the US have an extensive rail/train/metro system -

the rest require you to use one of 'em gas guzzlers for transportation!

LOL @ Zztopp, Gas prices here in Canada touched $1.5/liter. I think the prices are still low, not high enough to deter people from using SUVs and car unnecessarily.

all this talk about getting a ride (and the weird stuff going on in the other journals), heres a recent joke from (late night with) Conan O Brien:

Lance Armstrong announced recently that he is now engaged to Sheryl Crow. Apparently after 7 years of riding a bicycle, now he wants to ride something else !

You should live in the UK, where prices are predicted to reach ?1/ litre !!!!!!!!! time to buy a bike...... that'll teach us to go to the middle east to plunder their oil reserves...
