Yes, the situation is a sorry one, but what to do?

This country is driven by taxes & hence the reason why we don?t find destitute people like you would in Pakistan and Co.

You paying high taxes imply you earn a good whack-at least you have choices which many may not. Be grateful and sacrifice the use of your car for a couple of days

swiss i pay 1500 ? a month as tax then i pay a VAT of 17.5% on everything i buy i also pay council tax and i demand that 60% duty on petrol is crazy i mean the original price is 40 pence a lit and govt puts 47 p duty on it. its a shame

Inflation is already on the increase in the UK due to high petrol prices. We should be supporting the protesters as opposed to clinching onto our own selfish need for petrol- try alternative means of travel for a couple of days Docali

If one lives in London, why worry about driving or the shortage of petrol? Tubes and trains are still functioning
