Also, check out the Tahoe Card @ www.snowbomb.com

it's a pretty good deal. 45 bucks gets you a free lift ticket and free rentals (times 5), tune ups, discounts at other resorts and more. My opinion is that it's WELL WORTH IT!!

We're going Friday and Saturday 25th-26th... I was watching the news today, and they said the resorts should have no problems opening for Thanksgiving weekend. I believe we're going to Northstar.

Let me know which days are you all planning to go. Going for a day sounds like a simple option otherwise finding places to stay and trying to coordinate w/ppl, it gets to be really a lot of work!
I'm interested in going to Squaw valley as I've been to Heavenly twice last season and i like to try somewhere new this season. I'm wondering whether there is enough snow in Tahoe during Thanksgiving wknd.

I think the passes for Tahoe area resorts dont give too many options. For me, individual lift tickets work better. On any given weekend, if you shop around, you'll find specials from one resort or the other.

BTW, if there's a group trip planned, post it here, would love to join.

American Ski Company owns a few resorts in New England and also Steamboat Springs in CO. You only have to go about 6 times to make back your money. Last year I got in about 16 days, so it was all worth it!

Snowqueen: they don't have American Ski Co. Passes here (at least I haven't heard of them)... but they do offer cool season passes at various resorts... pretty good deal if you'll go alot..

I hear ya sista! We had a Noreaster here in New England, which brought almost 3 feet in some areas! Inshallah it will be a great season!

If anyone is on the east coast, you should get the American Ski Company Pass...it takes about 5 trips to make your money back! Lets get some crews to get NORTH!!
