about two years ago i actually had a crush... there was a guy at work (turned out he was Muslim) and he was older and married!! Of course I would never have done anything for obvious reasons... but the way he talked about his wife and kids and how he couldn't believe he landed a woman like that and how truly fortunate he was - man that was such a huge deal for me as I mostly saw a ton of people who just tolerated their partner (or are having affairs)...

Are crushes a bad thing? or a form of emotional cheating?

Thank you Reagents! I know what you mean but I can handle simple rejection from ONE person. But what if you and this person have many mutual friends in common and you're afraid that you'll forever be thought of as...Oh the girl who was rejected by .....P diddy. :p

Hmmm... Sophia, if a girl likes a guy then i think why not let him know... by pouring her heart out! But again, she shouldnt do it with any expectation... she should say it because she needs to let all that built in emotion out. She should do it for herself. IF she gets rejected then she should be strong enuff to get over it. I think the biggest mistake we can make is to let that person pass us by... and then when we act its too late. I really think if people are not forward with their emotions it is a sign of weakness. What should we be afraid of? rejection??? blah... its a part of living.
