At least I'm putting my experience to good use.
how do you know if a guy loves you? see if he places you before him in life. That is, how selfish or unselfish is he when he comes to you. A guy usually loves himself first and foremost, then maybe his car/mom/profession (btw, imho, God should be first), then whoever he is interested in. But if a guy really loves, and really the only way you should be loved and you should love, is if he places you in his life above himself. How do you know whether he does, his actions will let you know. What has he sacrficied, given up, struggled against, or gone through just for you, even when you didn't ask for it? Can you call him at 3 in the morning and he never complains about it? Would he drop everything he is doing to help you out with something. Those are just something. Hopefully the ladies in here can give you more examples of when they knew a guy loved them.

There, now that I got the argument we would have had out of the way, let me assure you that a mature, intelligent man that is totally in love with you will only want to be a part of the peace and happiness in your life. Any other man just isn't worth it (or if there's any guys reading this, same applies to women you are chasing)!
