When things seem to go wrong, we often express dissatisfaction, without realising that we are mere shortsighted mortals and we often fail to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
But we should always remember this:
The Messenger of Allaah sal-Allaahu alayhi wa sallam said, "Wondrous are the believer's affairs. For him there is good in all his affairs, and this is true only for a believer. If he encounters something troubling, he remains steadfast with patience, and that is good for him. If he experiences something pleasing, he thanks Allaah, and that is good for him.
lol. yes.. though a 'simple' poem (well if it can be called a poem that is)... its meant to signify how we (and this goes first for me than for anyone else) often are so quick to complain and be dissatisfied with what we have to the extent that we almost question God (the WHY ME......)but then don't realize all the blessings we do have and if we do choose to thank God for that, our 'thank you's' are not only slow but also less 'loud' (hence the ......thank you) .....hmmm... if any of that makes any sense!
