just came back today min el bled. father from mseerda, mother from annaba. many things are changing, everybody is building something (with the help of the Chinese), foreign companies are coming back more and more while bouteflika is tries to retain control. as far as murders and terorrism is concerned, boumerdes continues to be the only place with sporadic violence. but commerce is booming, weddings are blooming and couples are grooving.

Salaaam Sister in faith,

I see that you went to RPI, I am sure you know how blessed you are!!! people like me can only dream of spending time with the likes of sheikh Jaafar and Sheikh Mokhtar.

Oh! sorry I see that I was suppose to talk about Algeria. Well, I haven't seen it in almost 10 years but I can still feel the breeze while hiking the mountains of Chiffa (beautiful water falls) and Cherea as a boy scout.
Or travelling the coast from les andalouse to Seraidi in Annaba. Going south is a wonder, the plains of Metija will lead to the plateaus of Setif, Bouira or Medea then the tell of Laghouat and Djelfa then the amazing Sahra.

Number 41, Souk Ahras! Used to be number 4 with Oum Elbouagui but they re-shuffled it making it Souk Ahras. Welcome in Chaouia territory, Ain Beida to be exact.

My mother is from Setif and my father from Blida (how do they meet ??)
I don't go there very often unfortunately, but been there last year. I've been to Setif (of course) and El Oued. I was impressed by the beauty of El Oued :)

I have family scattered all over Algeria and hope to visit each place soon. Next one will be Tamanrasset insh'Allah.
