Will Batman Survive

Batman survives-- and thrives-- because he is given the freedom to doubt his abilities. After all, he could be just another guy. Deep down we all know Superman will fly no matter what, and Spidey is permanently metamorphosed into his mutant form. And they don't worry about what sort of people they need to become, they are pre-formed "good guys." But BW is different, isn't he? He is a dude with issues about his very identity, and the creators of this movie are smart enough to make these the core of his superpower, such that his struggle becomes much more important than just beating the baddies; it is about BW at last having the courage to be himself. And if you believe he can do it, you have to accept that it's what we owe to ourselves as well. The latest installment is, in my opinion, the most existential (superhero) fillum EVER, and that is the key to why it is also the best. (and if you got a problem with my opinion I'm bringin' in the tumbler, VROOOOOM.)

me thinks so- he's like superman and spiderman...they can't fade the classics. although my fav version was the 90's cartoon...best drawings and i thnk the first time a cartoon worked on black screen instead of white. innovative idea.

so um meeches...i guess u kinda liked it a lil bit, huh? hehee :)

I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Batman has always been one of my fav superheroes - I haven't read all the comics yet, but from what I have, its my humble opinion that this is the BEST of all the Batman movies. Keaton was ok - but I always thought the first 2 were overrated. The 2nd 2 were stinky in so many ways. This movies was just right - not too dark, but not campy. Also, I saw it on IMAX - if you can catch it on IMAX, do it - you won't regret it! :)
