Withdrawl from Gaza

Isn't it ironic how this is exactly how the Palestinians felt in 1948? And yet they still try to claim this land as their own.

Palestinians must be ever mindful that it is not the objective of the Israelis to do good in their regard. That doesn't have to be a point of dispair but can be a rallying point for self-empowerment. What would have happened if African Americans would have waited for white people to spontaneously treat them fairly, instead of fighting for their own civil rights? As MLK said, freedom is never given by the oppressor unless it is demanded by the oppressed.

Very true Tasneem, this isn't good. The disengagement of Jewish Israeli settlers from Gaza is an act of racism. What Israel is attempting here, is to shut down 'Jewish Only' settlements that they can not operate in an efficient manner, and focus their resources on maintaining and establishing 'Jewish Only' development in other Palestinian areas. What this effectively means is that Israel will continue its policy to keep those that are not Jewish out of these settlements. In my book, and I'm sure yours as well, stealing land from one people, building homes on that land, then giving those homes to people of one certain group, and then forbidding original owners and those that are not of a certain selective group from living on that land, well, to me that's a discriminatory policy which oozes out of a racist ideology filled with hate towards certain others, specifically, those that are of Palestinian Arab descent.

and where all the jews of Gaza are going to move when they are out of gaza ? Many of them in the West - Bank. I saw the last year in the westbank sooo many settlement buildings which were empty or where just few ppl live in it. And now we know why they were empty...And when you see where and how the Wall is builded than you will realise that this all is just another tactic of the israelian government. I saw last year the Wall in Abu Dis (near Jerusalem) and just few meters behind the wall they were starting to built new buildings for settler...The situation in the Westbank is now worse, but its gonna to be more worse than now. More fightings between Settlers and palestinians (you see it now...yesterday a settler killed 3 palestinian and that was not the first time and also not the last time...)

Definitly, but now it's so hard to predict what's going to come in Palestine, once they get all the Jews out of Gaza

Right on! What is more ironic is that they ARE calling them Settlements, which means:
1-The act or process of settling.
2-Establishment, as of a person in a business or of people in a new region.
3-A newly colonized region!
