I watched this film last night and have to say that it is one of the best horror films I have seen in recent times, actually, come to think of it, for a very long time.

The story is about three young people, 2 British girls and an Australian guy who go out on a trip in the Australian outback to see a place called "Wolf Creek". Wolf Creek is a kind of national park area in the australian outback and at the centre of it is a massive crater where apparently a meteorite crashed.

The three of them eventually get to Wolf Creek, park there car and then set off exploring the area. When they decide to go back to the car and find a place to sleep over at night they are faced with the problem of their car not starting at all. They try to find out whats wrong but have no luck so they give up and decide to sleep over in the car in Wolf Creek. While in the car, in the middle of the night, they see a bright light coming towards them and it appears to be a truck.

A guy walks out and asks them "what the heel are you guys doing here at this time of night? They, of course, explain the problem of their car not starting and he offers to help and tries to fix the problem. After trying for a while, he concludes that it's not the battery but a coil that needs replacing. He explains that they can go with him to his place and he can fix it for them or alternatively they can stay where they are and hope that someone else comes along.

They talk amongst themselves and then after much deliberating decide that they should take him up on his offer and get him to take them to his place and fix the car.

BAD MISTAKE!!

What follows is a helter skelter of a movie with so much tension it's unbelievable and some very scary and creepy moments.

All I can say that it is a very scary film and kept me on the edge of my seat all the way through.

One of the best films of this year.

Apparently, it has a US cinema release on Christmas day and will be coming to dvd in the UK in January.
