Women who stay at home
I heard this news on the radio yesterday while driving to work and thought it an appropriate topic to bring to this Village.
A 13 year long British study has revealed that Married Men whose wives are "primarily responsible for the cooking and cleaning" are Financially better off than their bachelor counterparts... earning up to 3% more.
The reason given was that:
"A marriage might allow a husband and wife to focus their activities on tasks to which they are most suited. Traditionally, this would result in the man concentrating on paid work enabling him to increase productivity and in consequence his wages"
OR
"another explanation could be that marriage may increase the amount of time a man has to hone work-related skills which could trigger higher wages"
So any thoughts... I know quite a few men are going to love this and a lot of women are going to hate it.
But we are bringing about controversial topics for mature discussion.

I ACTUALLY FEEL SOORRRYY FOR THE MAN I MARRY AS HE'LL BE IN FOR A SHOCK WHEN I START ON MY WICKED WAYS,,,,,,, GOD BLESS HIS SOUL NOW!!!
I would love to be at home and spend all day cooking yummy food for my tired husband when he arrives home after a hard day at the office..... P:
Then I would iron his shirts and polish his shoes for the following day.... (A)
then I would run him a hot bath so he can relax before bedtime... ;)
In the morning I would be up early to make his favourite breakfast... :P
