Iraqi women are strong and i believe stronger in their pride than most other Women of the Arabic nations, so why is it that you think we do not have the right to give citizenship to our children? Put it this way, if your father was Jordanian, and your mother Iraqi...does that mean you wouldnt have an iota of concern for your mothers heritage, language, history, or family? I dont think so...

In the new constitution of Iraq, women have the right to give their iraqi citizenship to their children of non iraq husbands. I think this is fair especially if the children were born in iraq. If they are not but educated of the knowledge and have love for the country, why not?...There are so many of us here in the u.s that have citizen ships and neither of our parents are americans. yet we made a choice...As should others do so when it comes to our land as well.
