I myself am against Subcription based games... It doesn't make sense to have to pay for something like that over and over when there are better 1-time alternatives.

Such as Guild-Wars or Morrowind: Oblivion
Both are Superb and incredibly unique games that guarantee up to 40+ hours

GW has very Diablo-esque stylings, and Oblivion has the awesome gameplay
