UK Muslim Leader Urge Women to Take off the Hijab
islamicawakening.com
Do you believe one should remove hejab and 'fit in' with society because they are fearful of other people? Or do you believe one should keep the hejab on, keep their faith strong , follow what Allah swt has told us to do and believe that Allah swt will protect those who keep their faith strong?

this UK leader should NOT be a leader anyways... don't know how he got elected as a Muslim leader.
look back at the history of Islam wa el-muslimeen... they were a minority and with all the troubles they faced... they didn't back down or have fear... they kept the faith... it even grew stronger...
so why do you think they will change now, Mr. UK 'so called LEADER'??? if you have doubts or lose ur faith, what else is left?
And as I think more about this article...I'm wondering to myself...who does this guy think he is telling ppl to do something like that? Ma be khaaf Rabbu ya3ni, wella sho? Its like deja vu w/ that shiekh back when France started banning hejab.
MashAllah, Allah yi7meeki ya Noora :) & LOL @ the link!!
I also agree with Noora when she says its all about Iman. You do need patience and courage to wear the hejab, but I believe strong iman is what actually gives you that courage to face the world with confidence. And its especally hard when your family are not supportive. I personally still don't get how parents can do something like that, but I dunno... :)
Basel, please don't!! lol
But guys, would you think bout tellin ur wife, sister, mother to take it off. What would your reaction be if they wanted to take it off?
Also, I've heard that the beard is 'hejab for men'. Personally, I'm not to sure about that statement. Anyone ever hear about that before?
ok...I gotta stop rambling lol
Good for you Nooarah that you feel this way and being so proud of your hijab.I wish I have the courage and patience you have.We can't generalize and try to make decisions for other muslim women. Each one is aware of her capabilities on tolerating pressure but also as salam said the more the hardship the more the reward wa Allaho a3lam
