Introducing Wudu Mate
A simple solution
Wudu Mate provides a simple solution to a well complicated issue many Muslims face on a daily basis. Performing ablution, especially in public toilets, has always been problematic. But now a UK based company has come forward to help the community.
Wudu Mate is a portable, compact water bag that is made from flexible material so you can fold it away into its own handy case and reuse it every time.
Its inventor says it took two years of hard work and lots of creative thinking in coming up with this simple yet extremely helpful product.
Moazzam Ali, along with millions of Muslims living in the west, constantly faced the struggle between working in a professional environment and fulfilling his obligations as a Muslim on a daily basis.
Mr Ali said: "I didn?t always have a mineral water bottle at hand and I got fed up with making sure that nobody was going to see me taking cups into the toilet at work so I could perform wudu and pray.
"I thought there must be an easier way of doing this so after lots of research I found that there was nothing that fulfilled my requirements.
"I wanted something that would hold enough water, wasn?t bulky and above all was discreet so I could carry it around with me wherever I went."
This is an issue that Muslims living in the west, whether at work, university or even just going shopping have to deal with on a day to day basis.
In many organisations and public places, areas for praying are often provided, however facilities for performing istinja (washing of intimate areas) and wudu, are very rarely if ever available.
Wudu Mate is the ideal solution as in its compact state can be stored in your handbag or pocket. It also has many unique features, such as a drip free pouring spout for accuracy, sturdy handle for stability and it is made from water proof flexible material for discretion.
Wudu Mate, priced only at ?4.99, is available to buy online wudumate.co.uk, through telephone ordering (07958 632 516) and in the near future will also be available in bookshops and local mosques in the United Kingdom.
