hits home at some level... i've seen the pain in my mother's eyes everytime she's ever watched me climb on my bike and take off... and everytime she's ever over heard me wax philosophic about riding motorcycles.
i don't have have a wife or kids/ i'll cross that bridge when i get to it... but i'm sure i'd feel the same pain i've seen in my mother's eyes. but: if u love somebody, set them free.
(at some level she's seen the maturity with which i approach the sport and made her peace with her son's passion. as long as she doesn't find out i visit the racetrack regularly, i'm ok, i reckon...)
Its under rated hence its not as highly priced as a Honda or a Toyota.
Mazda's are darn good vehicles.....with around 12 k you can get an extremely nice and sporty Mazda 6 ....maybe a couple of years old at the most.
good luck
I myself a 99 toyota truck with 140k miles, and havent had any major problems yet ( now i hope i didnt jinx it, i am driving it to NY during xmas)... even with such high miles, it is still worth more than the korean cars....
so it all depends how long u plan on keeping the car, and wether ull be paying cash or taking a loan.. if ur paying cash and plan on keepin it for 10 years, then u may buy the kia... but if ur takin a loan, u may owe more than wat its worth couple of years dwn the road..
My suggestion wud be to stik to toyota/honda, maybe even a nissan, used or new....
all of a sudden its about cars. damn... buy a motorcyle and be done with it, thats what i say.
got zero experience with either the kia or hyundai... but their warranty is indeed well regarded. (based on the comments of two co-workers --> so take that for what its worth)
for my part... i did 360K km's on my old corolla with nothing beyond regular scheduled maintenance back in south africa. did 170K miles on the first car i owned in the US... another corolla, bought at 120K with no major issues. currently own an accord which i will drive into the ground too!
there u have it. doesn't help u much but i reckon a low miles secondhand honda/toyota is equal to a new kia/hyundai. my 2c for all its worth.
those membership qs were just for fun, but ur right, i did remove them, so now anyone can join w/out a problem....lol...didnt want any nonminnesotans to join, since we re so special ... lol
