everyone has a FREAKIN' RIPPED ME OFF story!!

two weeks back, i bought myself a beaded necklace from a street vendor. it fell apart yesterday while i was on the subway when i adjusted it. i was frigging pissed off coz i paid 15 freakin bucks for it!!

then i bought a metro card and it freakin didn't give me a transfer between my rides. i was freakin pissed off and steamed at that !!!

what's your FREAKIN RIPPED OFF story or that of a 'friend' (if yer 2 embarassed 2 admit yerself) :OP

were u ripped off by a person, place, or thing?
what did u do? what place shud we avoid that freakin ripped u or someone u know off?

mr softee, on the corner of 66th and broadway charged me $2.25 for a vanilla cone with chocolate sprinkles. outraged by the $0.25 hike - i told him that i wasnt a tourist. but he smiled and flashed his silver tooth at me...and i dunno, i just acquiesced and gave him the $2.25. that silver tooth must have had magical powers or sumtin.

court street downtown brooklyn, Elmoe (especially in the winter time... dirt cheap). Madcherry, that's not getting ripped off, that's getting your money's worth.

one time this alien race came from the future. the future mind you, is super poor. so they came back to our time and they started working for next to nothing. anyways, i didnt mind when i found cheap labor for help around the house. now they've taken my job because my boss found two of them to replace me for a quarter of my salary. THEY TOOK OURRRR JOBS!

I dont know if this is considered being ripped off. Last week I went to Jackson Heights and I bought 1 gulab jaman and gave the guy a 20 dollar bill. He gave me back 9 bucks...I said, excuse me I gave you a 20...oops he says. Then I take a subway back home with a friend mine and we stop to buy a disposable camera and give the guy a 20 and he does the same crap. I say to my friend $%#$%#$%#$ desi hai na, is liyeh apna chalaqiat dekhara hai aur voh bhi apno ke saath . He just smiles back. Desis really suck. To rip off a guy is a different story, but to rip off a girl...you have to be either chinese or desi (dont mean to offend anyone, but if you know me, you know im far from being PC ). :P

Ok this is a story which is repeated everytime my whole family gets together. I was in Murree, Pakistan and my lil bro wanted to go horse back riding on the Mall Road, so we asked a guy who had horse and rented 'em, we went around and whe we came back i asked how much, and he replied "doo kaa chalees " now what i heard was, "doo soo chalees" , i gave him the money and pff he was gone. and then my mom asked me how much i paid and she totally flipped out, and then asked some other guy for his rate and he said 35, SO yes HE FREAKING RIPPED ME OFF!!!!
