The National Anthem off of Kid A is insane in such a sensible way, i lOve the way it begins and despite the end almost being too intense to take it is in fact Radiohead and thus obviously intelligently devised, composed and executed.

manifestation, yeah sorry, didn't mean to go off topic...buuuuut, while we are...i'm looking for anything that sounds like 'breathing light'...i tried listening to nitin's other stuff, but nothing really comes close...any recommendations?

Dreambrother,

I don't wanna get off topic, but I wanna respond directly to your last comment. 'Breathing Light' is very well composed, I just get annoyed at Nitin's insistence on incorporating those unneccessary sound clips at the intro of nearly every song he does. I have Philtre and Prophesy. As long as we're dedicating villages, that gives me an idea to start another village for the dynamic duo who released Hold On and Rebirth.

Anyhow... back to Radiohead!

someone needs to start a village for the song 'breathing light' by nitin sawhney...just that one song by itself is worthy of a village...it's beyond beautiful...

"And who are my real friends?
Have they all got the bends?"

I get a kick out of these lyrics each time, like they've got a bad case of the runs or something. So, for that reason alone, I nominate "The Bends."
