I know about Ihop but I wanted to be all pretentious and non-corporate yet still get real yummy food...

I ended up with trader joe's goat cheese pizza at home which was ok...but I'll have to get Finnale tonight to take care of the sweet tooth :)

z- i think there's an ihop somewhere. i'm sure if you go to their website you can find the closest location. if i recall correctly, the undergrad harvardians usually go to ihop (or something like that) after eid prayers... so i know there is *something* around here :)

Ok I just drove around for like 2hrs looking for a good diner for Pan cakes and regular breakfast food. there are some cute places in the South End etc but I dont' want a pretentious intterpretaion of eggs and pancakes I want the real thing! any ideas?

there is a quality india in brookline just down the street from shawarma king (closer to coolidge corner). it's not zhabiha, but even their veggie dishes are quite tantalizing. it's like indian fast food... but with fresh-made naan! sun-thurs, students get a discount w/ student ID.

i got a membership to the gym next door. is that where you go? or do you come to the one in my bldg? i go almost everyday-in the evenings- but have been out of service for a few days as per a tummy bug. but yes, we should stink up your old place before you leave. and you should swing by when you're in the area to go to the gym!

zz- i don't think medina market is all that. it's okay, but nothing too spectacular. i think it's in brighton- in fact your hubz took some of us out that way for groceries and we stopped by mm.

Andover! wow I potentially had job thing there and I kept calling it Bendover....I guess I might check it out...
