has added a new journalFor those of you who have never explored Eastern Europe and are interested in doing so, must not miss the absolute mesmerising city "Prague".
Prague was one of the most beautiful European cities since the Middle Ages and has had many nicknames as ? City of 100 towers?, ? Heart of the Europe?, ? Golden Prague?. It was a crossroad, where many merchant, artists and scientists met.

I totally agree. One of my most favority cities in Europe. People talk about London and Paris haven't experienced Prague yet.I'm planning to go againt this year!

has added a new journalCan a single picture give an idea of what Yellowstone Park looks like? Certainly not if it is taken from land. From wide plains to hills and mountians, lush green fields to petrified forests, cold river waters to hot springs, geysers, canyons and a variety of wild life, it's all there in Yellowstone National Park. It is amazing how such a vareity of life and nature can flourish on a volcanic underground. (Then again, isn't it amazing how life on the whole of earth can flourish given its violent interior?)
If you find it hard to get time off, or you just want to check-off another place from your hit-list, you could probably take a whirlwind tour of the place in 2 days, like I did. However, this would just give you a feel for what and how Yellowstone is. I would recommend atleast 4 days. There are places where you would just want to stop and let the beauty of nature sink in. If you can get a week off, all the better (but then again, how much is enough?). Personally, I plan to go camping there next time. Remember to arrange for lodging well in advance. Reservations start as early as one year prior and they go pretty fast too. Having said that, I was able to book lodging just 2 weeks in advance, that too in West Yellowstone, MT, just outside the West entrance to the park. Rent was $90 per night. I might have been lucky; people I know had to travel 1 - 2 hours to get from their lodges to the Park. Lodging is also available inside the Park. Spring is probably the best time to visit. Also make sure the places you want to visit are/will be open.
