has added a new journalFor all you FPS fans out there that enjoy games like Battlefield 2 and Quake (1/2/3/4), Splash Damage should be releasing a new game this fall called Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. It takes place prior to the Strogg invasion (see Quake 2 backstory) on earth. From what I've seen of recent E3 videos, the gameplay will be fast paced and will be centered on objective based teamplay which should make for some exciting 30 vs 30 battles. has added a new journalHeroes of Might and Magic (Homm for those in the know) is one of my ALL TIME favorite strategy series of all time...
The Turn-Based Multiplayer is soo conducive to teamwork it forces you to play for HOURS on end.
Homm 3 Was by far the best in the series... and the most popular. With my personal longest game (with 4 Cousins) taking a total of 4 months to complete.
With the New Homm 5 Coming out... we may see the spritual successor to HOMM3, which means more multiplayer madness and hours wasted in front of the PC.
When Homm5 Comes out I'll be looking for online friends... anybody interested? My guess it'll be EXTREMELY time absorbing.

I myself am against Subcription based games... It doesn't make sense to have to pay for something like that over and over when there are better 1-time alternatives.Such as Guild-Wars or Morrowind: Oblivion
Both are Superb and incredibly unique games that guarantee up to 40+ hours
GW has very Diablo-esque stylings, and Oblivion has the awesome gameplay
